Who is collecting the data?
The data is collected by Dorset Business Mentors for the purpose of providing business mentor support. The data will be stored securely and not disclosed to third parties (other than selected Dorset Business Mentors service mentors)
What data is being collected?
Clients – Address and contact information and other business details as requested on our ‘Request a Mentor’ form
Mentors – Address and contact information and business skills and experience details in order to facilitate logical mentor linking
What is the legal basis for processing the data?
Legitimate interest for the purpose of providing a business mentoring service
Will the data be shared with any third parties?
No (except as above)
How will the information be used?
Data will be used in order to manage the business mentoring service
How long will the data be stored for?
Clients – Data will be deleted 6 years after mentoring is completed
Mentors – Data will be deleted 6 years after leaving Dorset Business Mentors
What rights does the data subject have?
The data subjects can, at any time, contact the Dorset Business Mentors office to update or amend their data, request a copy of the data that we hold, or request that it is completely removed from the Dorset Business Mentors database
