Peer Networking Programme Overview

Participation in the Peer Networking is an ongoing commitment requiring attendance at meetings and work on personal action plans in between sessions. This page provides more information about the programme and the level of commitment required to help you assess whether the programme is right for you. You should only apply to take part if you have the capacity to dedicate your time between now and March 2022.

The peer network groups will typically meet monthly as part of series of two or three hour sessions, totalling 18 hours of action learning.

What You Will Do

  • Be prepared to share with your peer group a business issue that is real, urgent and perhaps a blocker to growth

  • Be able to reflect on the support offered by the peer group to formulate actions to help your business

  • Listen to your peer groups business issues and help them understand their issue and ways forward

  • Be a listener and ask questions to benefit others more than giving and receiving direct advice

What Your Facilitator Will Do

  • Provide a process to ensure everyone has an opportunity to have their business issue presented and explored

  • Role model critical behaviours such as active listening and questioning

  • Where possible, point you towards extra resources and expertise

Sessions will be led by our experienced facilitators utilising the action learning methodology – a proven and highly effective way of running peer networks.
